If you're reading this, know that you've seen my most personal side.
My name is Courtney Marie Martin, est. 1985; I'm a daughter, a sister, a significant other, and a dog mom. A wandering soul of sorts, an adventurist, mother nature's biggest fan. A hunter, a conservationist, an animal lover. I spend every free second I can spare fly fishing, freediving, exploring new hobbies, and creating. I was raised in the once small beachtown of Bethune Beach, FL. I left my small hometown for college in 2003 and never looked back. Art was something my parents always supported, but I was very shy about. I am a self taught multi-medium artist with a vast imagination, inspired by life's experience. |
Critiques, judging, and rejection were some of the things I feared the most, but have since outgrown. I've been a firefighter paramedic since 2004. With the support of my family, friends, and coworkers I entered my first art show in 2008. The rest is history. Through the highs and the lows art has always inspired me, healed me, and driven me. I enjoy traveling around the world as much as I enjoy hunkering down and creating. I encourage everyone to live their best life; practice gratitude, be grateful, smile in the face of humility, speak with integrity, stay humble.
Family is everything.
